  • This is my Daddy, 2nd Lt. Clarence Edward Edwards, from

    Columbus, Kentucky. He was 4-2 in the FSSF. Then he was in F Company of the 2nd battalion in the 474th Infantry Regiment (Separate).

  • The flowers were given to him by one of the little Norwegian girls in the other photos.
  • 2nd Lt. Clarence Edward Edwards (Eddie) of the 474th Infantry Regiment (Separate) is the Platoon Leader in these photos from 6 or 7 July 1945 in Rjukan Square.
  • 06.07.45 is noted on data of the marching photo of that day. so this was on 6 July 1945.
