  • My Dad, S/Sgt. Lindell O. Aldridge, is the tall man in the center. He was with the FSSF (3-2) prior to joining the 474th Infantry Regiment.
  • My Daddy, 2nd Lt. Clarence Edward Edwards (Eddie) from Columbus, Kentucky is on the right. He was in the FSSF (4-2) and then in Company F (2nd battalion) of the 474th Infantry Regiment (Separate).

  • Daddy really liked Norway. A Norwegian sculptor had Daddy model for him to sculpt his hand(s) and forearm(s).
  • 2nd Lt. Clarence Edward Edwards (Eddie), who is on the right with flowers, is the Platoon Leader. The soldier on the left with flowers, who is a Staff Sergeant, is the Platoon Sergeant.
